Community Outreach

Montessori Children's Garden has been a fixture in Aurora for over 20 years. It is important to us that we contribute positively to the community beyond our mission of providing quality Montessori education and childcare. Together with our school families, we provide hands on experiences for the children to give to and serve others.

We collected bridal dresses to donate to Bridal Boutique by New Name. 100% of the proceeds from selling gently-used dresses supports local women who have been exploited or trafficked in the Chicagoland area.

MCG teachers volunteer their time and offer parents a night out to themselves. Proceeds go to the American Heart Association.

We care deeply about the safety of all children. We hold a car seat check event open to all in the community. Families can stop by and see if their seat is the correct choice for their child and have it properly installed by certified technicians.

Every year, our families participate in a food drive that goes to Hesed House to support the execution of their mission.

Every Sunday, MCG shares a shoutout about a local business. We encourage our families to support them regularly. It is just another way we are looking out for our community. #SupportLocal.

MCG students sent their homemade flowers to Rush-Copley Hospital, Edward-Elmhurst Hospital and Autumn Leaves Assisted Living as a show of support during the COVID-19 pandemic.
